Nurse Information

Call the number on the back of your insurance card toll free and Press 1 to speak with a registered nurse. Whenever you or a member of your family has a health care question, anytime of the day or night, our registered nurses are available to help you assess your symptoms and to provide health information. Our nurses have an average of 15 years experience in a wide range of medical fields such as emergency care, pediatrics and women's care. And the information they give you is regularly reviewed and updated by a board of health care practitioners.

Long Term Health Counseling

Call the number on the back of your insurance card toll free and Press 1 to speak with a Registered Nurse Counselor. Facing the possibility of a chronic condition or long-term illness alone can be overwhelming. That's why we offer information about long-term health from a Registered Nurse, at your convenience. We'll help you work with your doctor as you learn to manage a chronic health condition like diabetes, or back pain. And we'll help you make informed decisions about tests, treatments and surgical options you may be considering. Health Information Phone Library

Call the number on the back of your insurance card toll free and Press 2 to enter the AudioHealth Library®. By calling the AudioHealth Library, you'll be able to listen to any of 450 recordings on a wide range of health topics, and request printed information. From everyday common illnesses, like a cold or sore throat, to more serious issues, like cancer and diabetes, you'll get the information you need right over the phone. We know that finding the right doctor or health care provider in your preferred network is the first step, among many, on the road to good health. Now you can call Blue Health Connection for information about doctors, hospitals and other health services in your community that are covered under the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Service Benefit Plan. You can find out which specialists meet your individual needs, and how to access valuable health care resources in your area such as classes, seminars and support groups. We'll also give you the phone number and location of a network physician's office near your home or office.
